Malt Shop Cruise

As a kid growing up in the 50's & 60's we would go to the Drive-In movies on Friday or Saturday night. You would have two to three movies to watch, and some of the Drive-Ins had a playground for the kids because you had to be there before dark. The movie would start at dusk. We would pack a picnic of soda drinks and snacks, sometimes take our dinner with us and load the car up with blankets, pillows and lawn chairs.

We had an awesome time on the Malt Shop Cruise and we plan on going on more. So enjoy our pages and hope to see you there too.
